Are parents competent to home-school?

It's pretty arrogant to take the mistakes of only a few, and pin them on everyone else. Parents are more than capable of home schooling their kids. On average, home schoolers are miles ahead of their public school peers. In home school, you actually learn. In public school, only 25% of cl time is spent "learning". No wonder America is getting dumber. Not all home schoolers turn out to be nightmares. Again, don't pin the experiences of a few on everyone else.
