Why are Americans so Afraid of Libertarianism? (No, I am not a Ron Paul supporter)?

I strongly, and wholeheartedly agree with you. But, now a days, people are persuaded to think we have a democracy, we have the strong left, the far right, but no central leanings. The central spectrum is libertarianism, where we have few social government needs, but the limited power, and limited size of government, where nobody in government has the right to tell us how to live, or control our way of life. I also wish Ron Paul received the nomination, but I can hope for at least some kind of miracle in the convention. Take care.
