If you oppose Evolution don't you oppose a lot of other theories too?

Well actually, evolution and the speed of light, geology, and astronomy aren't much connected at all. Though I agree in this day in age it takes a very uneducated or stubborn person to not believe in evolution--by now a doented phenomenon. Let me put it this way though, this man can believe that all creatures remain the same throughout existence... but still look up and see the stars changing every night(astronomy) and still measure our earth to the nearest star in light years and still observe that the mountains were formed by the shifting plates. Apparently Turkey is still having this debate as well. The reason is that in America we tend to to hold to our beliefs--however dumb they may be--because we think faith(be it blind) is a virtue.
