Which is more demoralizing for our troops?

I think just realizing that you're there for the wrong reason. This is due to Dubya believing the faulty intelligence in the beginning. Also, it's too late to just pull out of Iraq without the whole country descending into civil war and most probably upsetting the balance in the Middle East.
