How do i tell my cousin about me getting in trouble...?

me and my friend stole frm macys and got caught, i didnt take anything but she bought some pants and then stole perfume testers, (which they said didnt count since they had no retail price) 2 shirts and some flip flops, the total amount came out to 98$, well the security came and got us and i got in trouble too b/c i was w/ her and knew she did it. they say i might get comm. service, but i already got comm service once this summer for writing a threatening letter to an ex-friend. and i got 50hrs for that, and i finished a few weeks ago, and they said it will take a few weeks for me to know when i have to go to court for the stealing. but my cousin was out of town and he is coming back today and i want to tell him but i dont want him to get mad at me (he is the main perosn who takes care of me while im living w/ my aunt and uncle but they dont really take care of me he does, its a really weird situation) but my aunt and uncle know about it but i need to tell him, and i dont know....
