Figurine candles opinion essay help?

I'm working on a opinion essay for cl on why the ornamental figurine candles (the ones that look like puppies, babies and flowers), while admittedly pretty, are pointless and irrational to buy. i already present the points that they deter people from lighting them and using them for their intended use, that they offend one's morality, and that they make horrible statues because they are made from wax, but i need a few more points and I've got writers block. It would be very helpful if you could help me brainstorm some more ideas to keep the essay going. your help will be much appreciated. thank you ^^
