90's Movie Title - anyone??

It's got a song that has this in it: "you never know, you never know, you never know until you tryyy" and its got like puppets on strings singing it. I think the whole movie takes place on a patchwork quilt and one of the things the puppets have to do is fix their horse's ripped leg. anybody know?
