How do you define a " troll"?

I often get called this and other names here on YA, but what exactly is one. What I am is a 51 year old married father of two teenagers who believes in . I have several college degrees, have done a great deal of research on child development and parenting techniques, and have many years experience as a marital and family counselor. Among the things I advocate are talking to your children and explaining (in an age-appropriate way) how you expect them to behave; seldom if ever ignoring bad behavior; always administering punishment of any kind in a calm and controlled manner; using a combination of punishment methods tailored to each individual child; ing with an implement rather than the hand; administering s on the bare bottom; more harshly than even many ing parents do; and to a later age than many people feel is appropriate. So what is it that makes one a " troll"?
