I need help about skinks?

what skinks should i get for a first time reptile. i really like fire skinks, red eyed crocodile skinks, or blue tongued skinks. i need advice for which one is more holdable, easiest to care for, and personal expirience for how they are like if they are boring i do not want one. also i will need to know their lighting and feeding and care needs. please help me. also i was thinking i would get a blue tongued skink but they are expensive so if anyone knows of any reptile rescue places in fargo north dakota that would be great. i really need you help thanks
