My zebra finches had 3 babies 4 day ago...when can i hold them?

When birds are feeling that they are in danger they will abandon the nest. If they are very upset when you peek in the nest leave them alone for another week before trying again. if they are ok with it pick up a baby and again if they are freaking out put it back and wait again.
