How do I obtain a loan for flight training?

I am looking to change careers and become a pilot. I am currently a state employee with 771 credit. The problem is that all of the "continuing education" or "career training" loans have all but dried up these days. I want to attend a local FBO here in my city for my flight training. It will cost me about 30-40K (I'm estimating). Unfortunately, most any loans available for education loans require the "school" to have certain accreditations. I will be working with a local flight instructor, no "school", which makes me unable to qualify for these loans. I have a co-signer if necessary. Does anyone know of any loans that I would qualify for? Places like Waucovia, Bank of America, etc., have canceled the previous types of loans that would cover this training. Where do I obtain this money for this purpose? I would need a loan of 15-20 years with the ability for deferrment. Has anyone gone through this or have any experience/information to offer me? Please help!!!
